I am a woodworker specializing in functional and decorative carving, from woodenware and faceted furniture to display boxes and fine art. My workshop and studio are at my home in Raleigh.
Whether for art or for furniture, I work almost exclusively with hand tools and rely on native woods and natural finishes. My furniture and woodenware are made to be used, to be comfortable, and to last. But I aim for flowing lines in something as simple as a spatula, and even a footstool is a kind of sculpture! Much of my work these days is chip carving, relief carving done with a knife. It's a form traditionally limited to regulated geometric designs, but I'm interested in testing the limits of what that simple knife can do, incorporating motifs from folk art and the life of the North Carolina Piedmont.

We offer handcrafted dog treats for the love of pups!
Gracie’s Treats is the namesake of our ridiculously good pup, Gracie Mae. As a shelter dog, she came to us with lots of love to give and a very sensitive tummy! We've made homemade treats for her for over 6 years, and we're excited to share these yummy and healthy recipes with your pups. We work on farms and believe in a more sustainable future through a stronger network of smaller, local farms. That is why we source many of our ingredients from NC local farms who are using sustainable growing practices - and we insist on paying them well! We are constantly testing new recipes, and we'd love to know what your dog would love!
Located only six miles north of Pittsboro, alongside the banks of Dry Creek, Granite Springs Farm is nestled in a beautiful meadow surrounded by over 100 acres of woods. We embrace hope. We practice resilience. We believe in the power of community! We also believe in supporting all life on our farm, and have a vibrant pollinator garden to foster insects and birds who are vital to the healthy ecosystem at Granite Springs Farm. Why does our produce taste so delicious? It’s because it’s grown in living soil, which is the only way to ensure vegetables burst with flavor and are filled with nutrients. We make on-farm biological and mineral supplements to ensure our soil is healthy, so our community who eat the food grown in it can be too! Our family-owned market garden grows vegetables and fruit year around. Taste and see!

My name is Stephanie Bart, mother, home chef, runner, french tutor and now entrepreneur. I was born and raised in France in a rural area where simple, natural foods were the heart of our life. I didn't know how unique and important that was at the time. After traveling to different countries, exploring different cuisines, and finally having a family of my own, I realized I wanted to get back to my roots. So I started collecting my mother's recipes that I grew up on and replicating my childhood delight for my family.

Eva Green is a fourth generation basket weaver. Eva was skillfully taught the art of basket weaving by her mother, Nadine Degraffenreaidt. Hand weaving baskets is Eva’s biggest passion. Eva uses berries, nuts, flowers, vegetables, and anything that will make a stain to dye the reed for her baskets.
She has been awarded numerous ribbons for baskets and teaches locally at different community colleges. She is a member of the North Carolina Basket Association where she is on the Board of Directors. She is a member of the Chapel Hill Basket Guild, Chatham Weavers Basket Guild and the Chatham Artists Guild.
